Lets meet with Md.Mostakim
Mostakim, a 13-year-old boy from Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, has spent his entire life battling profound physical challenges. He is unable to speak or sit up on his own, he spends his days confined to his bed, his arms and legs too weak to support him. While his three brothers attend school and dream of brighter futures, Mostakim mostly remains at home, unable to join them due to his condition. His days are quiet and still, filled with longing for the opportunity to learn, play, and simply experience the world beyond his room.
Mostakim's father is a vegetable seller, and his modest income barely covers their basic needs, leaving no resources for the medical care that he desperately needs. The family has never been able to consult a specialist or pursue treatments that could help improve Mostakim’s quality of life. Despite their love and unwavering support, the weight of his condition has left them feeling helpless.
Mostakim’s challenges are immense, but his spirit remains brave. His family dreams of seeing him sit up, communicate, and participate in life alongside his brothers. With access to proper medical care, therapy, and resources, Mostakim could gain strength and experience moments of joy and independence that have so far been out of reach.
