Protoy Chanda Priyom is an 8-year-old boy who suffers from cerebral palsy and intellectual disability. Since birth, Protoy has experienced seizures that have significantly impacted his development. He is unable to walk, stand, speak, or perform any activities independently.
When Protoy was two years old, his family consulted a doctor, but there was no improvement in his condition. His father, who works a modest job, struggles to meet the family’s financial needs, making it nearly impossible to afford Protoy’s ongoing treatment. Due to these challenges, his medical care had to be discontinued.
Fortunately, with the support of the UHCD Foundation, Protoy is now receiving treatment again. This has given hope to his family, who are determined to see him improve. However, they are still unable to bear the high costs of advanced medical care that Protoy desperately needs.
