Dr. M R Rahman Razib, born in Bogura, is a renowned child health specialist and health economist. His early education began at Pre-Cadet Nursery School and Bogura Zilla School, followed by secondary education at Rajshahi Cadet College. He earned his MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College, pursued post-graduate studies in Pediatrics at BICH under Dhaka University, and later completed a Master's in Health Economics from the same institution.
Dr. Razib's career began in 2002 under the mentorship of National Professor M R Khan, the father of Paediatrics in Bangladesh, at Central Hospital Limited. He further honed his skills at Dhaka Children's Hospital, the largest pediatric facility in the country, treating thousands of cases during his tenure from 2002 to 2008. Today, Dr. Razib serves as a Senior Consultant in Pediatrics with a focus on children with special needs.
Driven by a passion for social impact, Dr. Razib co-founded the UHCD Trust, Bangladesh, with Khalid Shariar and Dr. Sumi. As Chairman of the trust, he is committed to empowering children in distress by ensuring equal rights and access to healthcare and education. Through his work with UHCD, Dr. Razib envisions a future where every child, regardless of their abilities or circumstances, receives the care and support they need to thrive.
Reefat Bin Sattar holds a Master's in Social Science, majoring in Anthropology, from Dhaka University. He is not only a distinguished figure in the realm of development but also a celebrated sports personality, recognized as an International Grand Master in Chess and awarded the National Sports Award in 2002.
With 26 years of extensive experience in the development sector, Reefat has worked with various national and international agencies, including prestigious organizations like UNICEF, Save the Children, and Plan International. He has been instrumental in shaping and leading five Country Strategic Plans (CSPs) and has contributed to two others. His expertise lies in human rights and inclusion, particularly focusing on child rights, gender equality, governance, and protection. Reefat has held senior management roles in international NGOs for 13 years and serves as a member of the General Assembly in ActionAid Bangladesh, alongside his position as Vice President of an NGO named HOOD.
Beyond his professional achievements, Reefat is a renowned chess champion, having won the Bangladesh National Chess Championship six times and represented his country in eight World Chess Olympiads, the Asian Games, and various other prestigious events. His contributions to chess have earned him numerous national and international accolades.

Dr. Ajuba Sharmin Parjun is a public health specialist and child health physician dedicated to improving pediatric healthcare. With an MBBS from Rangpur Medical College and an MPH from NIPSOM, Dhaka University, she began her career under the guidance of National Professor M.R. Khan at Central Hospital Limited, where she served for 15 years, providing critical care to children. Later, she contributed as a Senior Lecturer in Community Medicine at Women's Medical College, Dhaka.
As Vice Chairman of the UHCD Foundation, Dr. Ajuba passionately advocates for empowering children in distress, focusing on those with special needs. Through her leadership, she supports initiatives aimed at providing education, treatment, and research for children, particularly in Bangladesh.
Dr. Sufia Khatun Sumi, a Junior Consultant in Pediatric Neurology at the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital, Dhaka, serves as a consultant for the UHCD Foundation. Dedicated to empowering children in distress, Dr. Sumi supports the foundation's mission by providing expert guidance for improving treatments and education for children with disabilities.
