Dr. M R Rahman Razib, born in Bogura, is a renowned child health specialist and health economist. His early education began at Pre-Cadet Nursery School and Bogura Zilla School, followed by secondary education at Rajshahi Cadet College. He earned his MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College, pursued post-graduate studies in Pediatrics at BICH under Dhaka University, and later completed a Master's in Health Economics from the same institution.
Dr. Razib's career began in 2002 under the mentorship of National Professor M R Khan, the father of Paediatrics in Bangladesh, at Central Hospital Limited. He further honed his skills at Dhaka Children's Hospital, the largest pediatric facility in the country, treating thousands of cases during his tenure from 2002 to 2008. Today, Dr. Razib serves as a Senior Consultant in Pediatrics with a focus on children with special needs.
Driven by a passion for social impact, Dr. Razib co-founded the UHCD Trust, Bangladesh, with Khalid Shariar and Dr. Sumi. As Chairman of the trust, he is committed to empowering children in distress by ensuring equal rights and access to healthcare and education. MD. Zahidul Haque Siddiqui is a dynamic Program Coordinator at the UHCD Foundation, specializing in enhancing program performance through collaboration and innovation. Zahidul holds a diverse academic portfolio, including a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), an MBA in Marketing, and a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, showcasing his ability to bridge technical and business domains. Md. Akbar Hossain, from Behula village, Gobratala Union, in the Chapai Nawabganj district, is a compassionate individual devoted to serving humanity. After earning his Honors and Master's degrees from Chapainawabganj Government College, he began his career in tailoring before joining Inter Speed Marketing Solution Company Limited.
Inspired by the mission of UHCD, Akbar joined the organization as a Patient Enrollment Officer and soon shifted his focus to supporting special children. Today, he manages care and services for nearly 300 children through UHCD facilities in Chapainawabganj.
