Fahim, a brave 4-year-and-8-month-old, began his journey with epilepsy at age four, following an unexpected onset of symptoms that altered his life. Once a healthy, active child, Fahim now faces significant challenges in mobility: his legs are bent, his hands lack strength, and his wrists remain tight, making it difficult for him to walk, stand, and engage in everyday activities independently.
His family sought immediate medical care, and Fahim is now under the guidance of a physician at Dhaka Neuro Science Hospital, where he receives medication. Yet, the financial strain of ongoing therapies and specialized treatments has made it challenging for the family to keep up with his needs. They are reaching out to UHCD authorities and the community for support, hoping to provide Fahim with the comprehensive care that could improve his mobility and quality of life.
