Meet Tina, a bright 14-year-old girl with an incredible spirit and determination. Despite living with spastic cerebral palsy, Tina’s strength shines through every challenge she faces. Originally from a small town, Tina encountered bullying and isolation, making it difficult for her to connect with peers and build friendships. These painful experiences at school led to depression, and Tina began to withdraw emotionally, finding it hard to attend classes. As her world seemed to shrink, even the support from her father started to fade, leading Tina and her mother to make the courageous decision to move to Dhaka, hoping for a fresh start. Although the family continues to face financial hardships, Tina’s commitment to improving her health has driven her to attend daily therapy sessions at Firoza Bari in Dhaka. Today, Tina is part of our program at the UHCD Foundation, where we strive to make a positive impact on her life. She has visited our office twice for therapy sessions, which have given her hope and shown tangible progress. Tina’s story is one of resilience, and with your support, we can provide her with the tools, encouragement, and care she needs to continue on her path of progress.
