Rifatul, a 12-year-old with an intellectual disability, has been navigating life with unique challenges since birth. Though he can speak, he rarely initiates communication. He received some medical care in his early years, but as he grew older, the support he needed dwindled. Rifatul’s education stopped after completing the fifth grade, leaving him without the resources or guidance to continue.
His father, a daily laborer, is devoted to supporting Rifatul and his siblings, but financial struggles make it impossible to access the medical care and educational opportunities that could change his future. Rifatul’s family is reaching out for support to help him thrive, despite the hardships they face.
