Lets meet with Rizwan Chowdhury Rahan

Meet Rizwan Chowdhury Rahan, an 18-year-old young man living with autism. Rahan weighs 40 kg and stands 4 feet 8 inches tall. Despite understanding everything around him, Rahan struggles with communication and often refuses to speak. Rahan’s behavior can be unpredictable, and he experiences sudden bouts of anger. When upset, he tends to become destructive, vandalizing things around him. His stubbornness makes it difficult for others to manage his emotions and needs, as he often refuses to listen or cooperate. Physically, Rahan faces some health concerns, including a swollen chest, and his appetite is low—he refuses to eat anything. Social interaction is also a challenge for him; he avoids mixing with others and prefers to stay isolated. Rahan is highly dependent on his mother for support in all aspects of his life. His mother lovingly says that Rahan does not want to do anything without her by his side. He seeks her assistance for every task, and she plays a central role in his daily routine, offering him constant care and guidance. Rahan’s family is seeking support to help manage his condition and improve his quality of life. With the right resources, therapy, and support, Rahan can receive the help he needs to lead a more independent life.

Your $29 monthly gift will give Him access to life-changing education programs, crucial health and dental services, life skills, and more. At UHCD Foundation, we believe empowering disabled children can break the cycle of poverty for their families, their community and the next generation.
