Najmul is an 11-year-old boy living with an intellectual disability that has impacted his life since birth. He often exhibits unusual behavior and can become agitated, which has made it challenging for him to receive the affection and support he needs. As the second of three siblings, he faces unique challenges within his family.
His father works as a day laborer, and the family's financial situation makes it difficult for them to afford the medical care Najmul requires. He currently attends Bakerganj School for the Handicapped, where he receives some education, but his family hopes to provide him with medical treatment to help manage his condition and improve his quality of life.
