Lets meet with Omar Shikder
Omar is a 16-year-old boy with a bright spirit, though he faces challenges that many cannot fully comprehend. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Omar has never been able to speak, hear, or perform daily tasks independently. Every day for him is a struggle, but despite these obstacles, his heart remains filled with hope.
Omar’s family lives in a small, humble home in a quiet village. His father, a hardworking man, does everything he can to provide for his family. Omar is the eldest of three children, with two younger siblings who are full of energy and dreams. However, Omar’s condition has placed a heavy burden on the family, not only physically but also financially.
From a young age, Omar's parents took him to the doctor, hoping that with proper care, their son would one day be able to lead a more independent life. But as the years passed, the expenses grew, and despite their best efforts, they could not afford the ongoing medical care Omar needed. The family’s limited income made it difficult to access the treatments that could improve Omar’s quality of life.
The hardest part for Omar’s family is watching him struggle with simple tasks—tasks that most people take for granted. His father dreams of seeing Omar walk one day, of hearing his son’s voice, and most of all, seeing him thrive.
Omar’s mother, with her quiet strength, often sits by his side, offering comfort and support, though she too feels the weight of the situation. The family’s struggles are compounded by the challenge of transporting Omar goes to Bakerganj Handicapped School, where he receives some care and education. Without the right medical treatment and continued support, the potential for Omar to live a fuller, more independent life remains out of reach.
Yet, Omar’s family refuses to give up. They continue to seek ways to provide for his care, and they hold on to the hope that things will get better. They know that with the right medical attention, the right therapy, and the right support, Omar’s life could change.
This is where your generosity can make an incredible impact. Omar’s family is reaching out for help, hoping for support that will allow them to get the ongoing medical treatment Omar needs. The financial burden of transportation, medical visits, and therapy has been overwhelming for them, but with your kindness, they could see a brighter future for Omar.
Together, we can make a difference in Omar’s life. Let’s help him overcome the obstacles that stand in his way and create a future filled with possibilities.
