With the passing of her father, Meem’s mother has become the sole provider for Meem and her sibling, working tirelessly to meet their most basic needs.
Meem’s disabilities require ongoing medical care and attention, but her mother’s limited income makes it difficult to cover the costs of food, let alone the essential treatments that could improve Meem’s quality of life. Every day is a struggle to balance between putting food on the table and addressing Meem’s growing medical needs.
