8-year-old boy Minhaz is living with the challenges of severe cerebral palsy. He was born prematurely at just 1.1 kg, his early life was fraught with health complications. By seven months, he suffered repeated bouts of pneumonia, which further affected his development. Minhaz has no strength in his legs, and his hands and feet are visibly thinner than the rest of his body. Unable to sit up or perform tasks independently, his legs have become progressively crooked, severely limiting his mobility.
Minhaz’s family is deeply devoted to his care, but their financial struggles make it difficult to provide him with the medical attention, therapy, and nutritional support he desperately needs. His parents work tirelessly to meet his needs while managing the challenges of everyday life, but the rising costs of care are beyond their means.
