Humayra, a resilient four-year-old, has faced profound challenges since birth, navigating a developmental delay that hinders her ability to sit, speak, or stand like other children. Her journey began with a seizure immediately after birth, leading to an extended stay in the NICU, including a week on life support. Despite continued care from Dhaka Medical College and BSMMU, as well as regular physiotherapy and exercises from CRP that her mother practices at home, Humayra has yet to show the progress her family hopes for.
Now receiving support from the UHCD foundation, Humayra’s family is determined to provide her with every opportunity to improve.
