Lets meet with Sayma Sarder
Sayma, a 14-year-old girl, has faced many challenges since being diagnosed with Down syndrome at the age of two. Her journey has not been easy—frequent illnesses in her early years, delayed milestones like learning to walk with the help of physiotherapy, and reliance on her mother for basic daily tasks such as toilet assistance and menstrual hygiene management.
As she enters adolescence, Sayma has experienced weight gain and restlessness. She still requires help with eating, as she has not yet developed the ability to feed herself independently.
Despite these challenges, Sayma shines brightly in her passion for drawing. She has participated in numerous art competitions, earning awards and recognition for her creativity and talent. Her doctor believes vocational training would help Sayma gain more independence and confidence, yet her family’s financial difficulties make this dream difficult to achieve.
Sayma’s family is doing everything they can, but specialized care and ongoing treatment are essential to her development and well-being. With your support, Sayma can receive the care, therapy, and vocational training she needs to thrive and become more independent.
By contributing, you can help Sayma reach her full potential, allowing her to live a more independent life and fully embrace her artistic talents
