Lets meet with Rashida Khatun Rumpa
Meet Rumpa, a spirited young girl whose courage shines brightly in the face of cerebral palsy. Each day, she encounters challenges, but her determination and zest for life are unmistakable. From the age of five, Rumpa has struggled with essential tasks like standing, sneezing, and speaking clearly. Despite these difficulties, her curiosity about the world is boundless, and she approaches life with a warm and resilient spirit.
Though expressing herself can be hard, Rumpa connects deeply with her family, especially her parents, while finding communication with others more challenging. Her expressive eyes reveal her understanding and emotions, conveying what words sometimes cannot. Rumpa actively participates in play, dances joyfully, and enjoys her meals independently—a testament to her tenacity and joyful heart.
Over the years, her parents have tirelessly sought help for Rumpa, consulting specialists at Dhaka Medical College, the National Institute of Neurosciences, and the National Eye Hospital. Yet, the financial strain of ongoing treatments and therapies has made it difficult for them to support her fully.
Rumpa now needs consistent medical care and therapies to enhance her quality of life, but her family’s limited resources hinder access to these vital services. Your support can make a real difference, helping Rumpa gain the tools and encouragement she needs to navigate her world with confidence. Join us in supporting Rumpa’s journey, and witness her inspiring spirit firsthand. Your contributions are essential in paving the way for a brighter, more hopeful future for Rumpa, where she can continue to thrive and connect with the world around her.
