Lets meet with Faria Akter Raisa
Raisa is an inspiring 8-year-old girl who faces the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with remarkable intelligence and adaptability. Her journey has been filled with resilience. When she was just three days old, Raisa experienced a seizure, though the severity wasn’t fully understood until she was one and a half. Since her diagnosis, medication has supported her development, and Raisa has made significant strides—she can now walk, speak to some extent, and communicate her needs through gestures.
Raisa’s intelligence shines through her enthusiasm for technology. She enjoys navigating YouTube to watch videos and play games independently, showing a keen understanding of digital tools. Having a tablet or phone equipped with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) would greatly support Raisa's ability to express herself fully. This technology would empower her to communicate more effectively, enhancing her confidence and enriching her interactions with others.
Raisa’s story highlights the transformative power of the right resources, and with your support, we can help her unlock her full potential.
