Meet Arabi Al Hamim, a 15-year-old diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Arabi’s early developmental milestones included crawling at 6 months, sitting at 8 months, and walking by the age of 1 year. He began speaking at 2 years old, and his early childhood showed no significant signs of his current challenges apart from mild fever and convulsions shortly after birth.
Now, Arabi struggles with communication and engagement. He speaks very little, often remaining silent and unresponsive to others. His lack of interest in food poses another challenge, requiring his family to force-feed him to ensure proper nutrition.
