Concerned, she took him to a specialist who diagnosed Avi with Down Syndrome and prescribed medication to help manage his symptoms. Despite his struggles, Salman is a bright and responsive student in the 5th grade. However, his Down Syndrome  makes it challenging for him to focus on his studies, leading to frequent mischief.
