At 7 months, Zainab began crawling, and she learned to sit at 1 year and 8 months. By the age of 2, she started walking, and at 3 years old, she uttered her first words. However, as she grew, her progress stalled, and today, Zainab struggles to walk and speak properly. Her mother recalls how a doctor diagnosed her as a special needs child early on, but the family’s financial constraints have prevented them from providing her with the specialized care she desperately needs.
