Easin Ali, a 9-year-old boy from Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, faces significant challenges with his speech and memory. His words come slowly, interrupted by stutters, and his low intellectual capacity makes it difficult for him to keep up with others his age. After a severe bout of pneumonia in early childhood, Easin physically recovered but was left with lasting struggles in his ability to communicate.
His father works tirelessly as a farmer, while his mother manages the home, but their modest income makes accessing the necessary treatment for Easin an unattainable goal. Despite his challenges, Easin holds on to the dream of speaking clearly and confidently, eager to express himself to the world.
