He suffered from convulsions and severe cold shortly after birth and did not cry like most newborns. His first real cry came only after being examined by a doctor.\r\n\r\nAs he grew, so did his challenges. He crawled at six months, learned to sit at one year, and began walking by one year and five months. Words didn\u2019t come easily to him \u2014 he only started speaking at the age of three. But even those early steps toward development have now faded.\r\n\r\nToday, Shihab cannot walk properly, nor can he speak. He has been diagnosed with multiple disabilities, including physical disability, intellectual disability, and speech delay. At the age of 3, his mother began noticing that he was different from other children. Doctors confirmed what she feared: Shihab is a child with special needs.\r\n\r\nDespite their unconditional love and daily sacrifices, Shihab\u2019s family struggles immensely. His father earns very little, and the financial burden of ongoing treatment and care is overwhelming. Every day is a fight \u2014 not just against Shihab\u2019s health conditions, but also against poverty, worry, and uncertainty.\r\n\r\n\u201cWe are heartbroken,\u201d his mother says. \u201cThere are so many problems. On one side, we have his health needs, and on the other, the crushing financial strain.
