Lets meet with Hamida
Hamida, a bright 13-year-old girl from the bustling town of Nalchity, Jhalkathi, Barishal, dreams of a world filled with colors and light. But her world is often shrouded in darkness, a consequence of her visual impairment. Despite this challenge, Hamida's spirit remains unbroken, her mind ever curious, and her heart filled with hope.
Her days are a constant struggle. Every morning, she wakes up to a world she can barely perceive. The simple act of getting ready for school becomes a daunting task. With the help of her loving family, she navigates her way to school, her small hands clutching her books, a beacon of determination in her eyes. In the classroom, Hamida's intelligence shines through. She listens intently to her teachers, and excels in her studies, her determination fueling her academic pursuits. However, the challenges she faces are immense. Reading textbooks, writing exams, and participating in classroom activities become arduous tasks.
Hamida's father, a hardworking rickshaw puller, toils tirelessly to provide for his family. Yet, the costs of her medical treatment and specialized education remain a distant dream. The family's limited resources make it difficult to afford the necessary support to help Hamida overcome her visual impairment.
Despite the hardships, Hamida's spirit remains unwavering. She dreams of a future where she can see the world in all its beauty, read books without strain, and pursue her passion for learning. With the right support, Hamida can break free from the darkness and embrace a brighter future.
