Lets meet with Md. Abdur Nur.
Six-year-old Mohammad Abdur Noor, from Kalinagar, Municipality, Chapainawabganj Sadar, has lived his young life in a world partially cloaked in darkness. Born with congenital lens problems in both eyes, Abdur Noor suffers from a condition that severely limits his vision during the day and leaves him completely blind at night. Tragically, his brother also lives with the same condition, compounding the family’s hardship.
Despite the challenges, Abdur Noor faces each day with resilience. His father, Mohammad Taharul Haque, works tirelessly as an auto driver, while his mother, Mosammat Baby Ara Khatun, dedicates herself to caring for the children. Yet, the burden of medical expenses, alongside daily living costs, stretches the family’s limited income to the breaking point.
Thanks to the compassionate support of the UHCD Foundation, Abdur Noor is now receiving advanced medical care. But his journey is far from over. Continuous treatment is essential to preserve and potentially improve his vision, giving him the chance to experience the world with clarity and confidence.
Abdur Noor’s parents hold on to a simple but powerful dream: to see their son live a life unshackled by darkness. They are now appealing to generous hearts for help—so that their beloved child can continue receiving the care he needs and look toward a brighter, clearer future.
