In a humble home in rural Bangladesh, 6-year-old Abu Taher Hanjala faces the world with courage and determination despite the challenges life has placed before him. Living with a Physical Disability and Speech Delay, Hanjeaa struggles daily to achieve the independence and ease that most children his age enjoy.
As a baby, Hanjala showed early signs of determination—walking at just 8 months, sitting by 10 months, and standing at 1 year. By age 2, he began walking steadily. However, his speech has not developed like that of other children. Though he can speak, his words come out in a unique manner, making it difficult for others to understand him.
Hanjala’s physical condition also limits his ability to do everyday tasks on his own. He relies heavily on his mother’s support, especially for moving around and daily care.
His mother speaks with both love and concern. "Three days after his birth, Hanjala had seizures. We rushed to a doctor, and he improved, but his physical condition has never been normal. We are always worried for him, but we lack the financial means to take him to a bigger hospital where he could get the care he truly needs."
Despite these challenges, Hanjala has a bright spirit and dreams of a life where he can communicate clearly, move more freely, and do things on his own. With your help, this dream can become a reality.
