Lets meet with Mst.Sanjida Khatun
At just 5 years and 5 months old, little Sanjida Khatun has already faced more struggles than most do in a lifetime. Born with cerebral palsy, her journey began with hardship. When she entered this world, there was no joyous cry—only a silence that filled her parents with worry. Her first tears came only after the doctor’s touch, but then, she cried endlessly, as if sensing the challenges that lay ahead.
As days turned into months, her parents watched helplessly as their little girl struggled with even the simplest movements. She crawled at 6 months, but sitting took her until 1 year and 8 months. Walking came at 2 years, and speaking at 3. But even those small victories were overshadowed by the reality that something was wrong.
Now, at 5 years old, Sanjida still cannot walk or talk properly. Her mother remembers the painful moment when she realized her child was different.
"At 3 years old, I knew she wasn’t like other children. She couldn’t move, speak, or play like them. We took her to a doctor, and they told us she was a special needs child."
Her father, a hardworking man with a low income, does everything he can to provide, but money is never enough for the treatment Sanjida so desperately needs.
"Every day is a struggle," her mother says, her voice heavy with emotion. "We battle not only poverty but the heartbreak of knowing our child is suffering and we cannot help her."
Sanjida’s condition is more than a medical issue—it is a constant fight for survival, for dignity, for hope. She deserves a chance to walk, to speak, to live like other children.
Today, her family reaches out—not in desperation, but in hope.
