Tamim, a 2-year-old boy from Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, lives with multiple disabilities that significantly impact his daily life. He cannot speak, walk, or sit, and struggles with mobility due to challenges with his right hand and leg. Tamim also experiences drooling and depends entirely on his family for care.
His health issues began early in life, following a severe fever and convulsions at just a few months old. Since then, his condition has severely limited his ability to communicate and move. Tamim's father, a day laborer, and his mother, his primary caregiver, do their best to support him despite their financial hardships. With limited resources, they can only afford infrequent doctor visits every six months and lack access to advanced treatments.
Recently, Tamim received medical care through the UHCD Foundation, bringing hope to his family for better opportunities and improved care. With continued support, Tamim could access essential treatments, offering him a chance at a brighter and more comfortable future
