Hasan Ali is a seven-year-old boy from the village of Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, who is facing physical challenges due to post-meningitis complications. Shortly after his birth, Hasan was diagnosed with pneumonia and received treatment, yet he never fully recovered. His condition has left him with developmental regression and symptomatic epilepsy, causing his strength to fade over time. Now, Hasan is unable to speak, his hands and legs lack the strength to support him, and he spends his days lying in bed, entirely dependent on others for even the simplest of tasks. Feeding himself is impossible, and he cannot sit or move independently. His father, a poor farmer, has done everything within his means, but the family’s limited income cannot cover the ongoing treatment Hasan requires. Hasan’s family hopes a compassionate hand will lift him toward a healthier, more comfortable life.
