Md. Al Mamun Riyad is a five-year-old boy from a quiet village in Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh. He is battling Cerebral Palsy (CP), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and Epilepsy. Riyad’s journey began with severe seizures just two days after birth, leading to a seven-day stay at Rajshahi Medical Hospital. Unfortunately, the medications he received caused his body and nerves to stiffen, leaving him with uncontrollable movements. He often runs aimlessly and scratches his face with his nails.
Riyad’s parents, who run a small grocery store, struggle to make ends meet, and their earnings are barely enough to cover basic needs. They cannot afford the treatment Riyad needs to improve his quality of life.
