He was born with paralysis and blindness in one eye, his life has been defined by a lack of mobility and opportunities. He was bandoned by his mother, Shakil was left to rely entirely on his father, a man who loves his son deeply but is unable to provide him with the care he needed. Shakil’s father works as a van driver, and while he does his best to provide for the family, his income is not enough to cover medical expenses or education. Shakil has never had access to proper medical treatment or therapy, and as a result, his condition has worsened. His dreams of standing, walking, and going to school are far from reality, and his world remains small and isolated. With your help, Shakil could have the chance to receive the medical care and attention he deserves.
