Lets meet with Sree Nirmol Kormoker
This is Sree Nirmal Kormoker, an 8-year-old boy from the humble village of Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, facing numerous challenges with strength. He is born with multiple disabilities, he struggles with hearing impairment and speech delay, which make it difficult for him to communicate and connect with others in the way he wants to. Walking is challenging for him, as his muscles lack the strength to keep. But despite these hardships, Nirmal is a dedicated student. Now, he is in the first grade, he goes to school every day, learning with focus and enthusiasm.
Sree Nirmal has a gentle soul and a curious mind. He loves bright colors and enjoys looking at picture books in class, pointing at images, and signaling to his teacher, eager to learn more. He finds joy in the simple things—he loves music, even if it reaches him faintly, and feels at ease around animals, especially cats, whose quiet presence seems to comfort him. Crowded or noisy places tend to overwhelm him, and he prefers quiet spaces where he can observe his surroundings peacefully.
His father, Sree Swapan Karmoker, is a hardworking man and he works long shifts at a factory, yet his income is only enough to cover their basic needs. While Shree Swapan dreams of providing proper treatment and therapy for his son, financial hardship has kept these hopes out of reach. His family’s love and dedication are unwavering, yet their hearts are heavy with the knowledge that they cannot afford the support Nirmal needs.
Nirmal’s story speaks to the strength of a child who continues to find joy amid struggle and a family that clings to hope despite hardship. With the help of kind-hearted individuals, Nirmal could access specialized care that might improve his quality of life, allowing him to walk more quickly, hear more clearly, and express himself in new ways. A helping hand could transform his future, easing his journey and offering his family renewed hope for the coming days.
