Lets meet with Jobaida Rahman Jeba
Meet Jubaida Rahman Jeba, a bright and lovable 4-year-old boy who has been facing the challenges of intellectual disability and Down syndrome since birth. Despite his condition, Jeba has shown remarkable milestones—he crawled at 8 months, sat up at 10 months, and began walking at 2 years old.
However, life hasn’t been easy for Jeba. He struggles to speak clearly and often seems different from other children his age. While he loves being with his mother, he finds it hard to connect with others. Mealtimes can be difficult, requiring persuasion to get him to eat, and he spends much of his time on a mobile device.
Jeba's mother shares her story with quiet determination:
"After his birth, Jeba had convulsions, but we didn’t understand what the doctor noticed. Thankfully, the convulsions have stopped, but now he drools a lot. He needs specialized care from a good doctor, but due to financial problems, we haven’t been able to afford it. The UHCD authorities have been very supportive, but he still needs more advanced treatment."
With proper medical care and therapy, Jeba can make significant progress. Your support can help him:
Receive consultations from specialists who can address his developmental needs.
Access therapies to improve his speech and motor skills.
Get tools to help manage his condition and improve his quality of life.
Together, we can make a difference in Jeba’s life.
Your donation can provide Jeba the treatment and care he needs to grow and thrive. Every little bit helps bring hope to his family and offers Jeba a chance to explore his potential.
