Meet Ayesha Akter Sara, a beautiful little girl who is 3 years and 6 months old. From the moment she was born, Ayesha’s journey has been filled with challenges, but her determination to thrive has been truly inspiring. Ayesha suffers from Cerebral Palsy (CP) and Epilepsy, conditions that have made her early years incredibly difficult.
Ayesha’s mother recalls the day she was born: Ayesha didn’t cry much after birth, and within a month, her family began noticing differences in her development compared to other children. At 9 months, Ayesha started crawling, and she learned to sit by the time she turned 1. At 1 year and 5 months, she began walking, and by 3 years, she had started speaking. Despite these milestones, her progress has been slow and filled with challenges.
Today, Ayesha struggles to walk and talk properly. Her mother, who lovingly cares for her, remembers how the doctor described Ayesha as a special needs child during one of their early visits. This diagnosis brought a mix of emotions—fear, uncertainty, but also hope that, with the right care, Ayesha could overcome her difficulties.
However, hope alone is not enough. Ayesha’s father, a hardworking but low-income earner, does his best to support the family. Yet the financial burden of Ayesha’s medical care is overwhelming. Her condition requires regular therapy, specialized medical attention, and ongoing care—all of which are beyond the family’s means.
