Ruku is an 8 year old girl living with a physical disability. She cannot stand or walk and still moves around by crawling. While she can sit with some effort, she cannot verbally communicate. Her parents are the only ones who understand her needs and emotions. She relies entirely on them for movement and daily tasks as she cannot navigate daily life on her own.
Ruku’s father, who works at a private company and earns a good salary, shares his thoughts with a heavy heart. “We don’t have financial struggles, but having a child who faces such challenges brings us great emotional distress. I am constantly worried about her future. Although everyone in the family loves her deeply, it’s painful to hear harsh words from the neighbors at times.”
