Mosammat Humaira Akter Nodi, a 4-year-old girl from Sabek Labanga, Ranihati, Shibganj, Chapainawabganj, has faced significant challenges since birth. Shortly after she was born, she suffered from seizures and was hospitalized for four days. Her fragile health has persisted ever since.
Nodi’s condition is heartbreaking. She cannot speak, sit up, stand, or walk. Her entire body remains paralyzed, leaving her fully dependent on others for her care. She weighs only 8 kilograms and is 33 inches tall. Tragically, her parents’ marriage broke down due to the strain of her condition. Her father, Sagar Ali, divorced her mother, Mosammat Moyna, and Nodi has been raised by her maternal grandparents ever since.
However, her grandparents' limited resources make it impossible to afford the advanced treatment she desperately needs. Currently, Nodi is receiving basic medical care and support from the UHCD Foundation, which has brought some hope to her family.
Nodi’s family are struggling with her financial costs and is appealing for financial assistance to ensure she receives proper medical treatment.
