Lets meet with Nazmun Nahar
Nazmun Nahar is a brave 17-year-old girl living with Down syndrome and global developmental delay (GDD). Her family first noticed her condition at six months old when she did not respond like other infants. By the age of three, Nazmun was unable to walk, and even now, she cannot speak or perform daily tasks independently. Her cognitive abilities are significantly delayed compared to her peers, making her daily life a constant challenge.
Nazmun is the eldest of two siblings. Her father works tirelessly as a day laborer, struggling to provide for the family on his modest income. Despite their efforts, financial hardships have prevented them from accessing the necessary medical care for Nazmun during her formative years. Her mother devotes herself full-time to caring for her, ensuring that her basic needs are met despite their limited resources.
With the support of the UHCD Foundation, Nazmun has finally been able to see a doctor, offering a glimmer of hope to her family. However, her ongoing medical treatment, therapies, and specialized care remain financially out of reach.
Nazmun’s family is appealing for your kind support to help cover her medical and therapy expenses. Your generosity can make a meaningful difference in Nazmun’s life, providing her with the care she urgently needs and giving her a chance at a more comfortable and improved quality of life.
