Lets meet with Noor Mahal Akhtar
Mst. Nur Mahal Akhter Naice, a 2-year-old girl from Ramchandrapurhat village, Chapainawabganj Sadar, has been struggling with severe health issues since birth. Shortly after her birth, she had seizures for which she initially received treatment at Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital for one day and was then admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, where she stayed for 16 days before recovering slightly.
Currently, Noor's condition remains critical. She is bedridden and unable to sit upright, her neck has not developed strength, she cannot understand or respond to her surroundings, she is unable to stand, walk, or talk. She cannot even eat independently thus has to rely entirely on her family for all activities.
Naice has two sisters and one brother. Her father, Nasir Uddin, is a farmer who is the sole earner of the family, while her mother, Mst. Semina Begum, is a homemaker who dedicates her entire time taking care of Noor. Due to severe financial constraints, her family is unable to continue her medical treatment.
Naice is currently receiving care through the UHCD Foundation. However, her family is unable to afford the additional expenses required for her advanced treatment. They are appealing for financial support to ensure Noor can receive the necessary medical care to improve her condition and lead a better life.
