Lets meet with Sumaiya Akter
Sumaiya’s story is one of resilience and hope despite the profound challenges she faces. At just 7 years old, Sumaiya struggles with severe disabilities that prevent her from speaking or walking. She moves by crawling on all fours, and excessive drooling further complicates her daily life, making even simple tasks difficult.
As the only child of her devoted parents, Sumaiya is deeply cherished. Her father, a van driver, works hard to provide for the family, while her mother dedicates herself to caring for Sumaiya at home. Although Sumaiya is a quiet and well-behaved girl, her family’s financial difficulties have prevented them from securing the medical attention she needs.
Thanks to the support of the UHCD Foundation, Sumaiya has started receiving medical care. However, her parents remain deeply concerned about her future and are seeking additional support for advanced treatment and essential nutritional needs.
With your generosity, Sumaiya can access the specialized care and nutrition required to improve her health and quality of life. Your assistance can provide her with the opportunity for a brighter, healthier future, filled with hope and possibilities she deserves
