The UHCD Foundation has a dedicated program for supporting children diagnosed with neurological disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, autism, or intellectual disabilities, who may experience seizures. These seizures commonly occur in children with neurodevelopmental disorders, who have an increased risk of experiencing them. The UHCD Foundation has initiated a project to raise awareness about seizures among parents, providing emergency guidance and distributing free preventive medications to help prevent seizures. By participating in the Friendship Program, children can connect with peers, nurturing a sense of belonging while learning essential seizure prevention strategies.
